MAMFT Newsletter Advertising Policy     

Ad Rates:

Ads should be submitted electronically no later than one month prior to the scheduled publication date. Publication dates are:

Ads are subject to review for content, language, and appropriateness to the mission of the MAMFT NEWS.  MAMFT members, including student and associate members, receive one free 1/8^th page ad per calendar year.

Payment for ads must be received prior to publication.  Make checks payable to the Minnesota Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and send them to:

CURRENT POLICY REGARDING USE OF MAMFT LISTSERVE

The MAMFT Board allows members to post unlimited emails to the list if these are:

·        job opening announcements

·        seeking referrals/resources for their clients

·        general questions

Emails deemed to be “advertisements” or “marketing” (e.g. Workshop/seminar announcements, office space rentals, supervision openings, and any other email intended to generate income) are:

·        free to members and their organizations once per quarter

·        $50 per email after the first advertisement per quarter ***(No current tracking or enforcement. The List Administrator has no involvement in the collection or monitoring of such payments/charges. Members voluntarily send money for each email send for distribution after the first advertisement per quarter.)

The MAMFT Board allows and encourages individuals and organizations not directly affiliated with the MAMFT to post to the MAMFT email list if these are:

·        related to the practice of therapy

·        otherwise related to Marriage and Family Therapy.

·        Nonmembers are required to pay a fee of $100 for each email posted to the list.  Attachments are permitted. ***(No current tracking or enforcement. The List Administrator has no involvement in the collection or monitoring of such payments/charges. Non-members voluntarily send money for each email send for distribution after the first advertisement per quarter.)
